Job Description

Our client is a global leader in insurance, risk management, and consulting services. They are currently seeking a highly skilledand experienced Senior PMO to join their team on a 6-month initial contract.As a Senior PMO, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, timeline, and budget. You will collaborate with the client and internal stakeholders to define project objectives and develop comprehensiveproject plans. Your excellent communication and leadership skills will enable you to establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.This is a remote position, with occasional travel to their London office. During the initial two-week induction, you will also have the opportunity to work from the clients offices in Austria, all expenses covered. Working with a team of over 40,000 professionals,you will be part of a culture that values its people and strives to protect businesses, fuel futures, and help communities thrive.Responsibilities:Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.Establish and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders.Manage stakeholder expectations and align project objectives with client requirements.Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget.Implement quality assurance processes and risk mitigation strategies.Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key achievements and upcoming milestones.Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, risk registers, and change requests.Skills and Background:Proven experience as a Senior PMO or similar role, preferably in a client-facing capacity.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practises.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is desirable.Fluent German is an advantage, but not essential.If you are ready to take on a new challenge, work with a global leader, and be part of a team that values diversity, we encourage you to apply.
