Redstone Commodity Search are working with a UK based energy trading company looking to hire a senior plastics and petrochemical trader to join the commercial team in London. Key Responsibilities/ Tasks Responsible for the trading of plastics and petrochemicals (HDPE/LDPE, PVC, Polymers, Styrene Monomers) in the UK and European markets. Developing new business within the UK and European markets as well as continuing to expand on any existing business.Analysing market trends and pricing in the plastics industry and developing strategies to increase profit. Setting up and running of desk in the plastics sector with the long term goal of developing the petrochemicals business. Reports into Director Key Qualifications/ Experience Minimum of 5 years of trading experience in plastics market, petrochemicals experience is advantageous. Knowledge of products such as; PVC, PET, PA, HDPE/LDPE, Polyproylene and Polystyrene, BUTAC, Styrene Monomers and Acetic Acids is preferred.Knowledge and exposure within UK markets. Experience running or setting up trading desk is preferred. Position is located in London, UK
