Senior PHP DeveloperRemote workingMy client, an award-winning company is searching for an experience Senior PHP Developer to join their growing team to work fully remotely.Role profileThe Role Reporting to the Development Manager, the Developer will join a growing team of developers and testers working on an extensive, complex web application driven by microservices with the potential to work with the following technologies:• PHP + Zend, Symfony, Doctrine• MYSQL, SQL Server• JS + Angular, NodeJS, jQuery, Web Components• Docker• MongoDB• Golang• KafkaKey responsibilities• Monitoring and supporting day to day maintenance of the software, working closely with the testing and product management teams to ensure that the software is stable and functional.• Leading projects to improve and extend the functionality of the application and taking responsibility for working to deadlines on such projects.• Providing technical leadership with regards to the quality of the codebase and taking responsibility for tracking metrics on quality, security and performance.• Ensuring the junior members of the team are supported and mentored in technical skills to allow them to quickly become competent and productive developers.Skills & experience• Candidates should have the ability to work as part of a close-knit team, be able to work unsupervised and have a good understanding of wider development theory:o PHPo JSo MVCo REST APIso Microserviceso SQL• Development in a Docker environment• CI Full stack developmentIf this is of interest then apply or email to discuss further.
