Senior Performance Reporting Analyst

An opportunity has arisen for a candidate with performance measurement and portfolio analytics experience to join our Investment Performance Team within the UK SEI Wealth Platform. You will be assisting with the timely and accurate production of monthly andquarterly client portfolio performance data undertaken for SEI clients, as well as participating in strategic and tactical projects to improve SEIs service offering and increase the efficiency and accuracy of performance reporting. This role would suit anexperienced professional that possesses an analytical mindset, attention to detail and a strong understanding of all technical issues associated with performance measurement in the financial services industry. You will report to the Client and Performance Reporting Manager and you will be part of SEI Wealth Platform Investment Operations - Client Reporting and Investment Performance Team. What youll do:

• You will have responsibility for the preparation, validation and submission of monthly client performance and benchmarks returns data to the Client Reporting team ahead of periodic client investment statements production within agreed SLA.
• You will be expected to use your theoretical knowledge to set up, interpret, and scrutinize system-generated performance output (e.g.: Multi Asset Portfolio returns, Contribution & Attribution returns).
• You will act as a point of contact and subject matter expert, regularly building knowledge and fielding routine and complex queries on performance reporting within the team and the wider organization.
• You will be expected to understand the data workflow, and ensure the ongoing quality and accuracy of performance data.
• You will take responsibility for sharing knowledge, providing support and training to more junior members of the team.
• You will be expected to liaise with colleagues globally (US & India) for cross training and to create synergies.
• You will establish and strengthen relationships with SEIs clients and internal stakeholders (Offshore Performance, Client Reporting, Operations, Client Services, and Performance Dev. Support teams).
• You will assist the team with tactical and strategic performance projects and other business tasks as assigned and seek to complete these within the expected timescales.
• You will assist the team with development of new ideas to help improve the efficiency of existing processes such as the monthly performance validation process using Excel and SQL or other tools.
• You will assist with the implementation of new performance solutions and actively participate in the testing of all technology upgrades.

What we need from you:

• A strong academic background preferably in Economics/Finance (or equivalent), or Math/Engineering (or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience in an investment performance or portfolio analytics role
• Knowledge of performance measurement and attribution methodologies
• Proficient in Excel including VBA macro
• Proficient in SQL (Preferred)
• Solid understanding of different asset types and multi-asset portfolios
