Job Description

Senior Payroll opportunity, reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team of 4, your role will be the deputise for the Manager and ensure a smooth and effective running of the UK and EMEA Payrolls. Financial Services business, offices in theCity of London (Liverpool Street) and offering Hybrid working.Client DetailsWell established Banking organisation with offices close to Liverpool Street, London.DescriptionReporting to the Payroll Manager this is a broad role and the scope includes but is not limited to the following.

  • Responsible for all Payroll end to end processes and to deputise for the Payroll Manager
  • Delivering a high quality Payroll service
  • Ad Hoc Reporting on Payroll
  • Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory deductions, minimum wage, and pension regulator laws and best practices.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
Profile
  • Strong experience working in payroll
  • Ability to deal efficiently and effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
  • Able to prioritise and multitask effectively.
  • Keen to develop and build their role and career
