Job Description

Are you a skilled and experienced Senior Payroller with a passion for delivering exceptional service to clients We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client, an ambitious and growing accountancy practice, as their Senior Payroller, responsiblefor supervising two Payroll AdministratorsIn this role, you will have the opportunity to manage the payroll process for a diverse range of clients, ensuring that all payrolls are accurately and promptly processed. You will also play a key role in the practices upcoming system change project, usingyour experience with implementation and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions that meet client needs. Experience with Resource link would be highly desirable for this role.Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the payroll process for a diverse range of clients, including calculating and processing pay, as well as handling tax and benefit deductions
  • Processing international payroll for clients in Northern Ireland, Jersey, France, and the US
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll records and responding to employee and client inquiries
  • Processing new hires, terminations, and other changes to employee records
  • Handling payroll-related audits and reporting and working with clients to implement new payroll systems and processes
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience in payroll processing in an accountancy firm
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
  • International payroll experience
  • Experience with implementing system changes
  • Management/supervisory experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • Advanced Excel skills
