Job Description

Senior Network Security Design & Deployment EngineerMust be eligible for SC ClearanceRate: £50-55k dep on experience & Certs + £6k Car Allowance + On Call + O/time + BensNTech is recruiting a Senior Network Security Engineer (Ideally with Cisco, Juniper or Palo Alto Cert) to work for a large scale MSP servicing Enterprise Grade and Service Provider Networks. The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for providing LLD Design, deployment/Implementation and last line root cause in critical areas of security infrastructure.Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate will come from a similar Senior Network Security role with a LLD and deployment background. The role involves working with TDA’s on highly complex Network Security Designs and deployments on firewalls such as Cisco ASA’s, Juniper SRX’s Palo Alto’s, Bluecoat and Aruba ClearPass as well as last line incidentsLocation: Home Working, Some customer travel when required.Term: Full Time Environment: Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, CCNP Security Certified, Cisco ASA LLD, IPS, IDS, Encryption, Bluecoat, NAC, SIEM, Design, Cloud Security, Infrastructure, Security Ops, Consultancy, Strategy.Deliverables:

  • Technical Lead within the customer account on network security solutions
  • Lead technical escalation point being the last line to resolve root cause or design related problems.
  • Working with Solutions Architects providing LLD and deployments
  • Working closely with the customers ensuring all documentation is up to date
  • Build, Design and proof of concept leading Pre Staging
  • Being involved in Customer meetings on updates, reviews
  • Design and implement security solutions through to operation, considering multi-supplier/multi-platform environments.
  • Apply knowledge of all key areas of secure security technology appropriately within legacy estates / environments.
  • Presentation of security approach and designs to senior management, clients and across programmes, projects.
  • Presentation of commercial industry & security proposals.
  • Lead and draft Low Level design documents.
    • Responsibilities:Background ideally within Telecoms, MSP’s or within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).
  • Firewall Security Certified in Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto
  • Strong knowledge & understanding of, & experience in IT security.
  • Security consultancy and deployment.
  • Knowledge & understanding of, and experience in, IT security;
  • Appreciation of trends in IT security
  • Experienced in creating LLD Designs
  • Experience of working client side
  • Experience with network & infrastructure design, deployment, and management systems
  • Experience managing and maintaining network & infrastructure servces.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the current and developing strategic information requirements of a Technology Services business
  • Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities
  • Proven team player
  • Strong technical background / understanding of networks
  • Must be strong to steer on technical solutions and security matters
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and draft low-level design documents.
