Job Description

Senior Network Engineer - London & Field Based£55’000 - £65’000 Annual Salary + On Call + OT + Car Allowance/Car + BenefitsAbsolute IT Recruitment are delighted to be representing a growing and very well respected Network Solution Provider on their business critical Senior Network Engineer position. They provide critical solutions for medium & enterprise level clients across private and public sectors. My client is proud to be supporting various NHS clients during these tough times!The Senior Network Engineer will provide support, configuration and the implementation of various Network and Security products across multiple vendors including Cisco, Juniper and Huawei. You will have strong knowledge around Traffic Flows and Data Transport. You will be a versatile Senior Network Engineer who is able to provide a level of technical consultancy to your clients.This Senior Network Engineer will be supporting a client base specifically in London and the South East. Therefore, you must be a self-starter, self-sufficient and hold a valid UK Drivers Licence.The successful Senior Network Engineer will have the technical attributes:

  • 5 years’ experience working as Senior Network Engineer and ideally experience with a small/medium sized Solution Provider.
  • CCNA or CCNP Certification - Highly Desirable
  • Network Protocols: Quality of Service (QoS), HSRP, GRE, IPSEC, OSPF and BGP.
  • Strong experience of the OSI / TCP/IP Models
  • Installation of multi-vendor products: Cisco and Juniper.
  • Huawei experience would be Highly Desirable
  • JunOS
  • Experience support Large LAN / WAN Network environments.
