Senior Network Engineer – German Speaking - €50,000 - €70,000Fully home workingA Senior Network Engineer who is fluent in German and specifically strong with DNS is needed urgently to join a global software business and be part of their German / DACH support function as a senior.The role is fully home based and therefore candidates can be located anywhere in Germany, the UK, Austria or other European countries. You will form part of the German team, working with external clients in Germany and therefore fluent German is essential.The Company:You will be joining a world leading software business that specialise within the networking space and helping Enterprise scale organisations with complex network and security related requirements. A company that’s had millions in investment over the past few years with a global reach and now looking to build their DACH team in 2020.The Role:- You will work directly with Enterprise customers on identifying, troubleshooting and resolving extremely complex issues- You will be working on mission critical projects and accounts playing a key role in helping clients avoid unplanned outages, recommending best practises.- You will become a trusted partner to customers working with people from various levels in the organisations- In-depth troubleshooting and debugging will be core to your role – specifically focused within DNS related problemsSkills and Experience Required:- You must be at a senior level with 5yrs+ in a similar Network related engineer role acting as the last level point of escalation.- You MUST be an SME with DNS and have strong experience with common protocols (FTP, TFTP, NTP, SNMP etc)- You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be used to speaking with clients of various levels, fluent in German- You must hold strong experience working within Enterprise environments- The role is completely remote working and you must be able to work within German standard time zones and hours with an on call rota every 4 to 6 weeks.What will you get in return:- AN extremely competitive salary and benefits package- Working in a key mission critical role where you actions have a major impact- The chance to be part of an already successful global business and make a real impact in their new DACH growth- Work with the biggest leading businesses globally- Career progression, growth, working with the latest techs and the best people in the businessTo find out more about this opportunity of apply send your CV to Heather Bilas at Opus Recruitment Solutions (heather.bilas@ )
