We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and bold Senior Network Engineer, for a company who are based in London. The Senior Network Engineer will help develop and maintain the business. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsbile for the following.Key responsibilities- - The successful candidate will have an established background of working within a customer-facing support role.- Extensive experience of configuration and troubleshooting of customer services on a large network, for an Internet Service Provider, Telecommunications Operator, or in a similar challenging, hands-on environment.- Exhibit a thorough understanding of implementation and operational issues demonstrated by a practical approach to technical problem solving.- Requires limited direction and guidance with most tasks.Essential tech experience-IP technologies:- Understanding of Tier I ISP, BGP traffic engineering, route-maps, prefix-list, peering issues, IPv6- Routing registries (RIPE, ARIN, AFRINIC) and geolocation problems, DNS- Security, DDOS attacks, IP hijacking and route-leaksTransport technologies:- DWDM and SDH- Dark FibreWhy you should apply for this job- Opportunity to work for a leading organisation- Work in a varied team- Great progression routesTo apply for this position as a Senior Network Engineer, please send an updated CV using the links below.We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
