The hospital also has a several specialised centres, including; The London Breast Institute, recognised as one of the best private breast screening and diagnostic treatment centres in the UK; the London Digestive Centre, a highly specialised outpatient facility offering diagnoses and treatments for all conditions of the stomach, small and large intestines, liver, pancreas, and bile ducts; and The Institute of Sport Exercise and Health, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to sport and exercise medicine.Job DescriptionAs Senior MRI Radiographer you will provide a customer focused high quality diagnostic Radiography service to our patients and service users; undertaking and performing all MRI procedures. This post willpredominately cover four sites and each site will have a different speciality. Staff are therefore expected to have scanning experience inneurology, ENT, musculoskeletal, Gynae, urology, and angiography scans ( the role will not cover cardiac orpaediatrics).This is a full time fixed term contract role until September 2021 working 37.5hrs per week (Covering shifts between 7.30am until 10 pm – There is weekend on-call)The attractive and competitive salary for this role is between £41,102 - £45,669 and will be dependent upon skills and experience.Reward & recognition– We reward your commitment in delivering the highest standard of care with generous and competitive benefits such as our contribution pension scheme, private medical insurance, annual salary review, 247.5hrs holiday each year; with the option to buy and sell.   • Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients
  • Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways
  • identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
  • Assist the day to day running of the breast imaging service
  • Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
  • Assist with staff orientation and training
  • Skills & Experience
  • HCPC registered
  • Degree within Radiography
  • Have experience within MRI
  • Knowledge of processes and procedures in radiography
