Senior Monitoring & Evaluation (MEL) OfficerGlobal Engagement£36,317, including London Weighting AllowanceReference: 011904The Senior Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer will be responsible for developing, expanding and enhancing MEL systems, especially for Circle U. Alliance of European Universities (/) and the FCDO-funded Partnership for Digital Learning and Increased Access (PADELIA) (-profiles/partnership-digital-learning-and-increased-access and The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the Alliance and partnerships are better able to capture, analyse and use high-quality information to strengthen programming and delivery, as well as capturing impact and inform next steps.These innovative projects have a strong component of learning and evaluation that will underpin the continuous improvement of strategic and operational delivery of the projects, including in real-time, as well as form the basis for the exchange of learnings among a vast network of European universities, the European Commission, UK government and global stakeholders, including institutional partners in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.The role will oversee the implementation of the MEL systems and processes to evaluate the performance, quality and effectiveness of partnership activities. This will include exploring new ways to translate data into impact, through supporting the adaptive management of the programmes and sharing knowledge with both internal and external audiences. The postholder will also be responsible for the preparation of reports, present to senior internal and external stakeholders and liaise with key global stakeholders.This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of a friendly, innovative and impact-driven team working on flagship programmes with international teams.
