Job Description

SENIOR LAWYER MEDIA DISTRIBUTION EXCITING GLOBAL ENTERTAINMENT CLIENT 5+ YEARS PQE HYBRID WORKING We have an exciting new position for a Senior Attorney to join the legal team, focusing on Media Distribution, of this leading global Entertainment client.This key role sits within the heart of the Media Distribution Legal team which supports our clients media distribution activity across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia. You will focus on legal/business negotiations on licensing deals for television,channels and SVOD agreements, legal/business advise on commercial/legal/regulatory issues arising from licensing deals and advise in respect of commercial aspects of our clients products including partnership arrangements with third party platform partners.You will act as a legal negotiator on licensing deals for television channels, content and transactional services and licensing of client services. The role will also provide legal advice on commercial/legal issues arising from licensing deals, some advisorywork on regulatory, intellectual property and anti-piracy issues and flexible support for senior members of the team on key matters. Any experience in IP licensing within television programming, channel distribution and/or digital media will be highly desirable.The role has an EMEA focus, therefore fluency in another European language, in particular French, is desirable but not essential.
