This is a completely new role that has been created due to sales growth so you would be leading this already successful design team through the next steps in its growth strategy geared to a more sustainable and carbon neutraleconomy.Experience RequiredYou will be an experienced mechanical engineer that has a successful background in commercial HVAC design and specification. This could be cooling and/or heating so air conditioning, chillers and heat pumps. You must have a background of career progressionthat has gone on to ideally managing mechanical design or pre sales specification teams. If you have managed junior trainees or apprentices or even if you have a number of years experience and you feel you are ready for the next step up into management, thenplease still apply.The CompanyA leading and established provider of advanced energy efficient commercial HVAC. They can provide both traditional refrigerated HVAC systems or water based, whether cooling i.e. chillers or heating i.e. heat pumps so they are well positioned to benefit fromthe changes in regulation to cut carbon emissions. Projects include offices, hotels, retail, data centres, education, universities, healthcare and hospitals along with large multi residential buildings.The PackageInitial indications by the client are a base package range for the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer managing a team is between £42,000 to circa £50,000 + bonus although there may be some further potential flexibility depending on your experience and suitabilityfor the position. You will also receive a company car or car allowance, health care, dental insurance and an impressive pension plan.
