Job PurposeAs an IT Assurance SeniorManager within the national Technology Consulting & Assurance team, reportingdirectly to the Technology Consulting & Assurance Director and Partner, youwill be responsible for delivering IT Assurance (external audit) to a range ofsectors, most notably in Financial Services and Corporates. Client satisfaction is of paramountimportance to us and you will need excellent communication and written skills,and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Your Role &Responsibilities• Responsibilityfor managing and oversight over a portfolio of external IT audit engagements includingInsurance, Banking, other Financial Services and Corporates sectors for theLondon office and other South based offices with the opportunity to work onother IT assurance engagements;• Responsiblefor scoping & planning, budgeting, providing oversight to engagementprogress, quality assurance of deliverables, leading closing meetings withclient management, and acting as a point of contact for both the Audit Partnerand client, ensuring both are kept fully informed of any issues arising and theprogress of the work;•Experiencein leading IT General Controls, application controls and IPE testing;• Experienceof ERP applications such as SAP or Oracle, and standard packages such asAgresso, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage; • Knowledgeof operating systems such as Unix, windows server, and Linux and databases suchas SQL, Oracle, DB2;• Experiencein delivering audit analytics within projects using tools such as ACL, andusing SQL will be added advantage;• Deliveringwork to the highest technical standards including ensuring the work isconducted in line with Mazars Quality standards;• Managea team of Managers, Seniors and Juniors across a portfolio of projects;• Buildand develop strong working relationships with the client, ensuring any problemsor requests are dealt with promptly;• Buildand develop long term relationships with senior stakeholders within Mazars;• Ensuringall work is undertaken to budget and meets client KPIs;• Actas a role model - help to develop and mentor members of the TechnologyConsulting & Assurance team;• Tohave a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managingdiverse teams and the strategies to overcome them;• Understandthe wider service line capabilities of Technology Services and the wider firmand how these may benefit clients;• SupportTechnology Consulting & Assurance senior management in the development ofthe practice, by leveraging the skills and experience gained previously toidentify and support the implementation of new initiatives, ideas andprocesses;• Tosupport the development of the business via proactive targeting of key servicelines with clients;• Tocontribute and be responsible for the management of a team based in Londonoffice and for managing their performance, training and developmentrequirements;• Ensurethat the services provided are genuinely appropriate for the client;• Identifyand transform opportunities and prospects into new work. Your Skills, Experience andKnowledge• Significantexperience of providing IT assurance to clients across sectors relevant to theLondon office;• Youwill possess a relevant professional qualification such as CISA / QiCA / ACCA /MIIA / CIPFA ;• Havea sound technical understanding of IT risks and hot topics;• Experienceof managing a portfolio of clients and a team of staff, including Managers;• Experienceof developing junior staff and mentoring team members;• Experienceof building and managing relationships with senior stakeholders;• Abilityto think creatively, generate innovative ideas, challenge the status quo anddeliver work effectively;•Strongtechnical abilities in audit methodologies, combined with strong businessacumen;• Excellentoral and written communication skills proven through extensive report/proposalwriting experience;• Desireto help grow and develop the department;• Abilityto develop new initiatives and methodologies;• Experienceof identifying issues through sound technical analysis and application ofcommercial acumen in all situations;• Abilityto express ideas with authority and conviction throughout verbal and writtencommunication.• The TechnologyConsulting & Assurance Team also delivers services such as Cyber, DataPrivacy, Forensics, Data Analytics and IT Outsourcing.
