Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Supplier Risk Managers to ensure the SRM Framework and the Supplier Risk Appetite are embedded across the Banks businesses and functions.
  • Own and manage the key documents (framework and policy level) governing Supplier Risk Management for the Bank
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to ensure that its supply chain is managed in line with the Banks Supplier Risk Appetite, associated Frameworks, standards and procedures, and in line with regulatory requirements for Material Outsourcing arrangementsin particular.
  • Oversee and provide best practice guidance to the business on supplier management meetings, change management, renewal strategies, exit strategies and transitional arrangements across the Banks supplier relationships, ensuring they are executed in linewith the Banks standards and procedures.
  • Guarantees accuracy of supplier information within the Banks supplier management systems by ensuring that the correct Supplier Risk Management processes are in place
  • Work closely with Supplier Accountable Executives to assist in managing their supplier risks where ongoing assurance activities are required on suppliers (remediation plans/desktop / onsite reviews).
  • Ensuring that Supplier SAEs are accountable for their suppliers, take ownership and responsibility for their activities in the SRM process and provide training and guidance to support this.
  • Managing and monitoring alerts relating to suppliers including; Adverse News, BitSight, Financial Stability, Operational Risk etc. Undertaking regular holistic reviews of supply chain risks. Updating the SRM heatmap as required.
  • Identify any risks associated with our supplier base, escalating to business Leadership teams and COO management team as required. Taking action to track and resolve risk issues.
  • Ensure continuous improvement opportunities are delivered across the third party lifecycle
  • Support the Outsourcing Governance within the Bank, ensuring that the relevant processes are in place and operate within the Outsourced Services Policies and Supplier Risk Appetite statement.
  • Undertake Supplier Audit activities as required.
  • Ensure that all Outsourced Services-related documentation (e.g. Service Level Agreements ("SLAs"), materiality assessment, business contingency assessment, KPI catalogue) and data remains accurate and changes are acted upon promptly.
  • Support the provision of monthly management information ("MI") reports and submissions to senior management and relevant governance forums (e.g. Joint Services Committee, Supplier Risk Management Forum, ExCo, Operational Risk Committee (London and Asia),Operational Resilience etc) including sourcing data from functional teams and preparing accurate submissions promptly.
  • Support in the preparation of the packs and materials for the Supplier Risk Management Forum and Joint Services Committee.
