Job Description

Your opportunityWe are currently in the process of continuing to develop our global procurement function, and as part of that process we are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Manager to support in the development and execution of a new technology enabler, SAP Fieldglass (FG). FG is being implemented to drive improvements in the firm’s ability to respond to business needs, procurement strategy and control functions at scale.The primary purpose of the role is to act as the owner’ of the FG Services Procurement (SP) module for Deloitte in the UK and CH, sitting within our global procurement function.The SP module will be a new management tool which controls all sub-contracting activities which contain a human capital’ element, separate but aligned to our broader SAP Ariba procurement processes.Initially the role will be focused on embedding the new SP policies and practices across the UK and CH, driving adoption and overseeing the transition to new ways of working.Longer term, the role will be instrumental in ensuring there is a clear focus on key sourcing metrics: including cost savings, payment term improvements, supplier relationship management, quality improvements and cross-functional management.We are proud to offer flexible working arrangements which allow our people to choose the most suitable working arrangement that works for them.   • Act as the Business Owner for the SP module of the FG platform, being responsible for setting the strategy, policies and processes for the module
  • Drive business adoption in the UK and CH with senior business users and teams
  • Work with the system admin team to implement transition activities between our current and future ways of working
  • Work across functions to understand internal customer needs, define targets and lead improvements to Procurement processes to enhance the customer experience with SP over time
  • Keep abreast of changes with the FG functionality and that of its competitors
  • Provide leadership and drive resolution on concurrent complex situations, often daily
  • Keep abreast of best practices across the industry and how to leverage FG to enable faster and more efficient purchasing
  • Consult on industry best practices and make process improvement recommendations
  • Support implementation efforts for SP into new geographies and business units in NSE as required.

The role can be worked on a full-time basis.Your professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 or more years of procurement experience
  • Extensive experience working in a complex, matrix organisation
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills
  • Ability to move complex, often competing priorities forward and in balance
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills that build rapport and networks
  • Experience with contract management and sourcing agreements, particular large sub-contracting arrangements
  • Ability to clearly communicate information, both in writing and in person, in an easy to understand manner.
    • Desired experience and qualifications:
  • SAP FG experience - especially within the contingent worker, and services procurement modules
  • Experience of projects, ideally of managing projects
  • Experience working across multiple business functions, and geographic regions.
