Job Description

Your opportunityWant to work with the latest technologies and make things happen by bringing exciting solutions and technologies together Integration practice within the business operations group, focuses on enabling clients to overcome complex systems integration challenges when delivering business driven, technology - enabled change across their organisation. Our specialists help clients in designing and implementing fully integrated solutions across the organizations own walls, and with its external partners, suppliers, and customers. Our end-to-end solutions encompass technology, people and data; span across front, middle and back offices; and are focused on quality, governance and control. We cover all aspects of systems integration including digital solutions, package integration, custom development and infrastructure. Business Operations Want to work with the latest technologies, as part of a team helping international organisations transform their core business capabilities Whether youre working with on-premise systems, Cloud technology, or custom-developed solutions (to name just a few), your expertise will help clients deliver continuous improvement and innovation, from initial design right through to implementation and optimization. Your role You have useful, core skills in one or more technologies that you can apply in a project context, and you are starting to move beyond the precise practices you were taught, gaining a better understanding of the underlying principles that make them work. You will take responsibility for your own productivity and begin to take ownership over components within an overall solution. Its also likely that you will also start to manage and mentor some more junior people on your project. On a integration architect role, you will have responsibility for: • Uncovering "Art of possible" with integration technologies • Leading design and development of Integration prototypes and solutions • Developing solution vision that fits the requirements of clients technology landscape • Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution • Working closely with multiple stakeholders across the project lifecycle, including: o Liaising with Client technical leads and solutions architects to understand business requirements, functional and technical designs o Lead technology teams both at Deloitte or client to deliver solutions that meets business and technical requirements o Working directly with executive clients and Deloitte leadership to manage expectations and deliver outcomes • Leading best practices to optimize the integration ecosystem • Leading teams developing, configuring, administering and troubleshooting real-time and event driven integrations • Growing our practice; managing financial, solution and reputational risks; establishing market pre-eminence • Developing, maintaining and influencing senior relationships in Industry • Attracting talent, motivating and leading internal and external teams • Undertaking role of counselor, coach and mentor; actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities; providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you. Location: You will be based in a Deloitte London office, however travel will be required for client based projects. Whilst some clients are London based, we do spend time on site with regional and international clients. We specify full mobility for our consulting roles but we make arrangements respectfully, there may be some opportunity for working from home depending on client demands. Work pattern: This is a Permanent full-time contract opportunity. Your professional experience • Consulting experience gained within large consulting organisations (>5000 employees) • Considerable experience with integration and wider technologies • Considerable experience in architecting modern solutions • Strong knowledge of architecture domains and frameworks • Significant experience in multiple Integration and cloud technologies (Mulesoft, Dell boomi, Amazon web services, Microsoft Azure etc.) • Significant experience in leading technical workshops with the client • Good Understanding of broad set of market leading technologies • Good understanding of the different Integration vendors and technologies, and key differences between these • Experience in leading large teams of client and consulting staff on technology engagements • Keen interest and understanding of integration technologies • A proven, demonstrable track record for building go to market capabilities and developing strategies for growth • Experience in leading sales and developing and managing responses to RFPs • Experience in competencies such as IT assessments, solution options, Business case development Additionally, we expect that you possess the following core consulting skills: • Comfortable leading technical conversations with clients at all levels, ideally including C-suite • A strong focus on team working within diverse and remotely located teams • A "can do" attitude - Hands-on & flexible approach to emerging requirements and a real willingness to learn and participate • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to different audiences within an organisation, and effectively engage with stakeholders ranging from subject matter experts to senior functional leads • Strong documentation ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to proactively identify risks and issues and provide mitigation approaches • Enthusiasm and passion for the delivery of market leading solutions that make a difference • Professional working proficiency in the English language • Understanding and awareness of the commercial and reputational risks Deloitte may encounter and the appropriate mitigations Your service line: Consulting Our people and the way we work are the two things that set us apart in the consulting universe.
