Job Description

If you are an experiencedAccountant within real estate and are looking for a new challenge to join a growing but well established Real Estate Investment firm this role is not one to be missed.This Senior Management Accountant role will report into the Group Financial Controller and will be overseeing and guiding otherfinance team members.This role requires a qualified Accountant who has significant real estate experience and posses strong all round accounting skills including investor reporting, statutory accounts production and bank reporting.The company offers some competitive benefits and has a strong investment pipeline.Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end close activities and maintaining timely and accurate financial records for the operating companies
  • Ensuring financial control both of reporting and cashflow forecasting
  • Collating and producing finance related elements of investor reporting on a timely basis
  • Leading the preparation and reporting of bank related reports and managing the IPD process
  • Producing draft annual statutory accounts in line with companies house and statutory filing requirements including VAT and CIS were applicable.
  • Take responsibility for investor company sale information.
  • Sage system development and finance function service delivery
  • Ensure you maintain an appropriate level of technical financial knowledge to pass onto team members.
  • External party relationship management and ensuring high corporate standards.
  • Manage, guide and mentor the finance team.
Key Qualifications & Experience needed:
  • Fully Qualified Accountant either ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
  • Real Estate Investment experience is a must
  • Prior team management exposure
  • Investor reporting, bank reporting and statutory reporting experience
  • Experience dealing with IPDs
  • Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
  • Dealt with sales, acquisitions and leases.
  • Experience with Sage 1000 will be highly desirable.
  • Bluebox or Tramps system experience will be desirable too
