Job Description

Senior Management Accountant - Media Agency A Global, award-winning Media Agency is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their team.This role offers a balance of working within a close-knit team and working as part of a large, reputable network.This is a contract role initially with real permanent potential. The business offers flexibility/hybrid working.The Role

  • Preparing monthly Management Accounts reconciled to Trial Balance and calculating accruals according to IFRS principles
  • Leading monthly variance analysis against budget/forecast and performing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconciling monthly payroll to rolling budget and reporting headcount to gross salaries
  • Ensuring all coherence with main P&L and Balance Sheet
  • Owning preparation of month-end file, ensuring compliance with ICFR and providing information to auditors for SOX audits
  • Preparing management and external numbers for reporting, resolving reporting queries, and submitting monthly commentaries
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and SOX requirements, reviewing processes for improvements, and handling VAT returns, P11D, and PSA submissions
  • Overseeing a small team, hands-on management and motivation
  • Addressing ad hoc queries and participating in directed ad hoc projects
The Person
  • Experience in a similar role including management
  • Prior experience in a similar creative/Media industry preferably within a network
  • DDS/Mediaocean/Cartesis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong excel skills
