Continued growth across all business channels has created an opportunity for an experience Project Manager, Consultant or Lawyer to undertake a Senior Legal Project Manager role.Key Responsibilities of the Senior Legal Project Manager

  • Supporting Lead Matter Partner & Matter Manager through the lifecycle of complex matters
  • Scoping, budgeting & setting up project phases
  • Preparation of project plans & timelines
  • Coordinating the matter opening process
  • Identifying stakeholders & establishing a robust communication plan
  • Co-ordinating work, status reporting, client liaison & tracking scope changes
  • Financial management of fees, run rates & other key financial metrics
  • Co-ordinating cross-departmental & jurisdictional activity
  • Ensuring effective liaison with specialist departments & counsel
  • Regular update reporting to identify potential issues & manage risk
  • Risk & change management
  • Supporting post-matter review process to facilitate learning for future matters
  • Identify improvements to work product & processes & support implementation
  • Introduce new working efficiencies where appropriate
Skills & Attributes of the Senior Legal Project Manager
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager or Consultant from Professional Services, a LegalProject Manager from a law firm or a qualified lawyer
  • Project Management certification (Prince2) is highly desirable
  • A track record of leading large, strategic, and complex projects
  • Gravitas to manage and influence key stakeholders,
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, ideally gained from a client facing role
