Job Description

Are you an experienced Senior Legal Cashier seeking your next FTCTotum Partners are delighted to be working with a leading global law firm who have a great opportunity to work in a hybrid working pattern.Key tasks will include:

  • Processing standing orders, direct debits
  • Processing bank transfers/ Chaps payments
  • Carrying out daily client to office transfers
  • Ensuring that all office and client bank accounts are reconciled
  • Processing disbursements
  • Processing HMCT & Land registry payments
  • Ensuring compliance with the firms policies and Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Payment of Partners drawings and staff expenses
  • Responsible for clearing residual client account balances on a regular basis
  • Ensuring breach log is maintained which documents
  • Training and supervisory responsibilities.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Good knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Broad understanding of both client and office cashiering
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively at all levels
  • Strong customer service skills dealing with internal clients and external suppliers
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
