Role ProfileThe successful candidate for the Stellar Senior Developer role, reporting to the Stellar Director of Technical Solutions & Delivery, will form part of a team building a completely new cloud-based critical market infrastructure service in a bold new venturepart of LSEG. This exciting opportunity requires a candidate with excellent logical and technical skills, and a wish to play a critical role in forming and growing a new business. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain the multiple components of the Trade Agent platform ensuring timely delivery of work items. Resolve a high impact problem through in-depth evaluation of sophisticated architectures, business processes and industry standards. Serve as advisorto develop highly resilient and future proof solutions. Contribute to research and suggest for new projects for the Trade Agent platform. Willing to take new responsibilities based on projects need and circumstances. Skills & Qualifications:

• You have the significant hands-on experience in Application Development using Java and Spring Boot
• You have expertise in Microservices architecture and domain driven design, RESTful APIs, and messaging and streaming technologies (IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, etc)
• You are passionate about databases and worked in the past with SQL/NoSQL technologies (Postgres, Mongo DB, etc.)
• You have experience deploying fault-tolerant distributed systems on Linux, possibly in a cloud environment and familiar with cloud computing concepts and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• You have very high development standards, especially for code quality, code reviews, unit testing, continuous integration, and deployment
• Knowledge of testing automation principles and frameworks (eg TDD, BDD, contract testing)
• You have an appetite for taking on challenges and maximising new technologies
