Job Title Senior Java Engineer - FX Technology Location London Corporate Title Vice President Our Foreign Exchange (FX) Technology team are working with cutting-edge technology to support a top 3 leadership position of Deutsche Bank in the Foreign Exchange space. Youll be working with the technology supporting ultra-low latency (ULL) Foreign Exchangetrading that involve very large amounts of data, strong performance requirements and globally distributed infrastructure. ULL FX trading is an area of growth with a fully packed product development roadmap and non-functional efficiency challenges abound. While most of the ultra-low latency pricing and trading is implemented in C++, key technologies enabling the platforms scale are written in Java. You will be working at the heart of the platform with technologies ranging from transaction sequencing enablingtens of thousands of transactions a day, global in-memory key-value configuration management infrastructure supporting hundred thousands of configuration parameters with real-time update capability on a global scale, to technologies directly exposed to membersof FX electronic trading team supporting both ongoing research and operational management of a global trading platform What well offer youHybrid WorkingWe understand that employee expectations and preferences are changing. Your key responsibilities

• Undertaking development across functional and non-functional project goals
• Investing in automated testing coverage and test-driven development
• Performance research and ability to apply out of the box thinking to solve performance or bandwidth bottlenecks
• Close collaboration with eFX quantitative research and trading teams on a wide range of topics including platform goals, design, feedback on enhancements and usability
• Clear and concise documentation covering the solution design, architecture choices and any complicated code points

Your skills and experience

• Excellent knowledge of core Java platform
• Experience in performance optimization of multi-threaded Java applications or a familiarity with no-gc Java coding is a plus
• Experience implementing fault-tolerant / load-balancing solutions
• Experience with test-driven development and ability to formulate precise testing scenarios including performance testing
