Role - Senior Java EngineerTech - Java, AWS, DynamoDB, Lambda, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SpringLocation/Remote - London, 2 days in office per weekSalary - £90,000 to £110,000If youre a Senior Java Engineer with an interest in the FinTech space, Id recommend speaking with this company.Im recruiting for a startup who first launched in 2016, and due to their success were acquired last year by a huge corporate VC fund that invests in early stage startups - so theyre in a great position to dominate the market.This business provides cutting edge ETF and index managed data service to trading desks, asset managers and enterprise data management groups - their data universe accounts for 95% of the market!As a Senior Java Engineer you will be joining a development team of 8, headed by a CTO whos architected & built products for a range of investment banks, asset managers, prime brokers and hedge funds - so hes a great mentor to have!You will be building enterprise grade software systems on top of the Java development stack - using Spring, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch etc), Jenkins.Its essential that you have strong core Java skills, AWS, familiarity with automation and understand the differences between relational & non-relational databases. Bonus points for industry experience but domain knowledge can be taught.The salary for this Senior Java Engineer role ranges from £90,000-£110,000 + a discretionary bonus.
