Job Description

Senior Java DeveloperGlobal Software BusinessSalary up-to £70,000 pa plus annual bonus and benefitsFully remote but must live in the UKStart date ASAPI am urgently recruiting several Senior Java Developers to work for a leading global tech & software company.My client is a leader in their industry, working with the worlds most established businesses and corporations. They are well known for their high standard of software engineering, innovative and inventive culture, and championing progression and professional development.As Senior Java Developer, you should be commercially minded, obsessed with customer experience, and be eager play a key part in major greenfield projects from the ground up.Experience:

  • Java - Expert-level implementation skills with Java 8 and above.
  • 5+years’ experience working as a hands-on Senior Developer.
  • Experience designing and creating microservices.
  • Experience with using public cloud products, such as EC2, etc.
  • Spring – Expert-level implementation skills with the Core Spring Framework and including other sub-projects like Spring Security, Spring data Cassandra Spring Apache Kafka
  • Preference for advanced experience with Apache Kafka
  • Experience with containers and deployment (Dockers / Kubernetes as an example)
  • General – Comfortable in more than one programming language and have a firm grasp of fundamental web/internet technologies.
  • Experience working with open-source frameworks.
  • Extensive experience working in an Agile environment.
