Job Description

Senior Java Developer - Are you interested in working for one of the fastest-growing SAAS businesses in the UK Does the opportunity to become a Java Developer in a fast-paced environment working with the latest modern tech stack excite youIf you answered yes to both questions, keep reading, I have the role for you!The NeedThis award-winning SAAS business is growing rapidly, they have just secured serious funding and are now looking to hire an exceptional Java Developer to improve their platform for their growing customer base.You will play a key role in fleshing out their microservices architecture, as well as building functionality, new APIs, and webhooks on top of their Vert.x EventBus.The tech stack you will be exposed to will be Java 11, Vertx, AWS, Docker, Aurora, Dynamo DB, and ECS and they work with a mature CI/CD pipeline for software deployment.This role would suit a Java Developer who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is always looking to upskill with the latest tech stack.What they are looking for from a Senior Java Developer

  • First and foremost you must be a strong mid or Senior Java Developer with experience working on an enterprise Java application, that is familiar with Javas lambda functions and CompletableFuture class. Youll be expected to demonstrate this through an in-house exercise during the interview.
  • You must also have experience working on an application with a degree of complexity. This could mean an application demanding a focus on security, many dependent services, or anything similarly challenging.
  • You must have worked with at least Java.
  • You must have used at least Java 8 and be able to talk through some of the latest features of Java 8 including What did you have done with Lambdas and CompletableFutures.
