Job Description

SENIOR JAVA DATA ENGINEER LONDONUP TO £90,000Do you want to join a customer-centered consultancy that is going through a digital transformationCOMPANY:A consultancy company is looking for a Senior Java Data Engineer to be a big part of their data engineering squad, you will have the opportunity to work across many different projects being exposed to multiple industries including financial services. Thiscompany will give you the opportunity to work with some of their biggest clients to collaborate with internal and external partners and provide innovative solutions for handling large and complex data setsTHE ROLE:As a Senior Java Data Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Implements and supports data management solutions and best practices in partnership with Data Scientists and internal IT partners
  • Engineering infrastructural components and operational workflows for data access and integration
  • Performs miscellaneous programming tasks to support existing in-house data tools, platforms, and workflows
  • Performs data curation and quality control as required
  • Stakeholder Management
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Has a Masters degree in a STEM subject
  • Proficient with Python/Java and Scala
  • Experience with data base management and programming
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Have some experience on AWS
  • A consultancy background is a nice to have
SALARY AND BENEFITS :
  • Up to £90,000

  • Ability to work abroad for 6 weeks a year
  • In the office 2 times a week
