Contract term: Permanent, Full TimeSalary offered: £35,000 per annum (non-negotiable)Working hours: Monday to Friday; 09:00 - 17:30This role offers a hybrid working model: 2 days from office and 3 days from homeBenefits: - Up to 10% annual bonus subject to company and personal performance- Annual salary increases/reviews- Holidays: 20 days (increases after each year of service, max 25 days after 5 years of service) + bank holidays- Private health insurance- Company pension contribution: 5%Key Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents Analyse and evaluate computer network design, operating systems and/or business requirements Prepare reports, correspondence and other documents Carry out in-depth research to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department Install and configure new IT equipment; resolve incidents and upgrade different types of software and hardware Take ownership of issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes with the aim of restoring service as soon as possible Perform regular IT audits to discover areas of weaknesses and reinforce them Assist all users with any IT related incident as require; supervise repair and maintenance of all IT gadgets Lead or participate in projects as requiredExperience Minimum 4 years previous experience in IT support Good understanding of IT client infrastructure operations Practical knowledge of IP networks, subnets and VLANs Knowledge of internal and perimeter (firewall) security configuration and practices Knowledge of general IT security practices and willingness to constantly update knowledge Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and find solutions to solving them independently in a timely manner
