About the jobThe IT Engineering team is responsible to design, deploy, and manage the infrastructure, endpoints and applications our end users use in their everyday life. This position reports to the IT Engineering Lead who is based in Singapore, and the candidate canbe based out of Singapore, Hong Kong, Poznan or London offices. Our IT infrastructure roughly looks like this:

• Identity by Okta for 150+ SAAS services
• Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian Suite, Github
• Workstations include Mac, Linux, Windows, Chromebooks, and VDI instances
• Very little on-premise infrastructure. Were cloud-based as much as possible
• Workstations run device-management and endpoint protection clients
• SIEM monitors events from endpoint-protection, SAAS services, and networks

Infrastructure EngineerResponsibilities As an individual contributor on our IT Engineering team, youll have a broad set of responsibilities including:

• Designing, planning, implementing and managing Network, Systems, SaaS, Infrastructure, Virtualization and Cloud environments in accordance with IT guidelines and standards (the mix will depend on your career path, interests, and past experience)
• Resolving a diverse range of problems that spans across multiple technology domains
• Researching new solutions for business and operational requirements, converting requirements to technical and functional indicators, identifying vendors in the market, performing evaluations and proof of concepts, and drafting business proposals
• Driving technical projects with efficiency, quality, and impact
• Seeking areas of improvement for processes, technologies, and tools that provides business outcomes in terms of better security, higher productivity, or cost effectiveness
• Monitoring infrastructure health, providing escalation support for issues that require engineering support by troubleshooting and fixing infrastructure and application issues
• Applying security best practices in current processes to address identified issues in threat models, and keeping systems and applications updated with latest software patch
• Implementing change management by authoring change request documents that achieve a high standard for clarity
• Understanding and driving prioritized tasks based on department and company goals
• Drafting IT guidelines and policies for managing the infrastructure and cloud environments
• Educating company teams on the use of cloud applications and services

Required Skills

• Experience implementing and managing one or more cloud/SaaS services such as Okta, 1Password, Google Workspace, Confluence, AWS, and Jira, or equivalent experience in similar cloud or SaaS services
• Experience with deploying and configuring VMware Workspace ONE, Google MDM, or similar endpoint management solutions
• Experience with network and firewall appliances from vendors such as Juniper, Cisco, Unifi, and Palo Alto, or equivalent experience in similar network and firewall technologies
• Experience with VMWare vSphere, vCenter, and ESX design, integration and deployment.
• Advanced knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, SMTP, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, and distributed networks.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced knowledge of network authentication protocols and Network Access Control (NAC) technologies
• Experience in automating your daily tasks by writing scripts (or making use of existing scripts) and tools in Python, bash, terraform, powershell
• Experience in Linux or similar systems/server management
