Job Title: Senior iOS EngineerLocation: Central London office Base Salary: £76, 650 - £101, 400 plus excellent benefitsThe role is based at our London offices. When we can return to the office, there is opportunity to work 1-2 days per week from home, but it is expected youll work from the office 3 days per week. Youll be working with the Strategy and UX/UI Design teams as well as customer organisations to architect, design, and implement solutions. Additionally, you have resolved, in applying and improving appropriate methodologies and toolsets for customers. Youll also explore emerging technologies and software products; seize learning and knowledge-sharing opportunities.The minimum background experience and skills youll need to apply:*You have strong experience of crafting a mobile experience for variable screen sizes in variable versions of iOS and iOS SDK*Very experienced in Apple UI design principles, interface guidelines, patterns and best practices, and experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning*An excellent ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements, with a knack for benchmarking and optimization and hands-on proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Fastlane*Show excellent passion for mentoring and people development in a "player-coach" modelAdditionally, wed looking for hands-on experience of continuous delivery across areas such as code reviewing; understanding of basic App architectures (i.e. MVVM); practical Swift experience with focus on native unit and UI testing.It would also be great if you have the following experience but not essential:*Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications*Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design as well as knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.*Creating and leading frameworks in a modular codebase and familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services i.e. PromiseKitWe would also love someone with familiar with Agile principles and methodologies and usage of related tools - JIRA and Confluence.At LBG, were invested in your continual development.
