Job ResponsibilitiesProduce high-quality content spanning a wide variety of media Manage the end-to-end delivery of investment content across commentaries, articles, white papers, social posts, emails, press quotes, videos, award submissionsDemonstrate a high work rate and measure delivery and impact Collaborate effectively with a broad network, identifying issues and escalating in a timely manner to meet deadlines Be flexible and demonstrate knowledge of writing for a range of formats and media Credibly articulate insightful and differentiated messages from a mass of technical source content or collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop new messaging. In particular, proactively support the development and articulation of messages for the Companys client and media distribution channels. Act as a key source of investment, market and product-related expertise. Review the work of others, both critically from a messaging and structure perspective, and in detail as a proofreader. Collaborate effectively with a broad network, identifying issues and escalating in a timely manner to meet deadlines Proactively identify opportunities to promote products and capabilities and to enhance position as a thought leader within the marketplace. Ensure consistency of style and message across all investment communications. Maximise the leverage of content pieces across regions and media in a timely manner. Key SkillsStrong written skills are essential, particularly the ability to write creatively across a broad range of media for a range of audiences across the full investment spectrum. Experience in a writing role with an investment management company desirable, though individuals with media, research or other backgrounds will be considered. Demonstrable technical investment knowledge across asset classes including fixed income, equities, multi-asset and absolute return desirable. Robust understanding of financial markets and the investment management industry necessary in order to provide market update and investment/economic outlooks. Experience of taking ownership of content functions, in-house of outsourced, an advantage. Experience of writing for the institutional market preferred. Knowledge of Excel and Bloomberg required.
