Their purpose is to support the organisation to deliver our strategy by engaging our people through relevant, inspiring and timely communication. Working closely with the Global Head of Internal Communications, you will help to deliver internal communications which ensure our people feel well informed, engaged andinspired to do their best work at a company they love. You will help shape a clear and engaging narrative, with simple messages which resonate with our people. You will ensure we tell a compelling and consistent story across our global business, through multiplecommunication channels and campaigns, ensuring the right people always get the right message at the right time. This is a great time to join us and an exciting opportunity for you to make a real impact. As our Senior Internal Communications Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Shape and adapt the internal communications strategy to be people-focused and responsive to business needs, collaborating effectively with C-suite executives and coaching the Global Leadership Team.
  • Create and implement a communications and engagement roadmap aimed at increasing engagement scores, utilizing experience in managing change and crisis communications.
  • Develop and deliver a global internal communication plan that aligns with the strategy and captures activities beyond the central communications team, ensuring everyone is kept informed about company updates.
  • Foster excellent stakeholder engagement, using negotiation, influence, and engagement skills to interact confidently with senior management and recommend effective communication practices.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to deliver impactful events and provide continuous feedback and measurement to track progress against milestones, while championing and enhancing communication tools.
THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
  • Possess over five years of internal communications experience, including managing communication practitioners and working with consultants or suppliers.
  • Expert strategic thinker and pragmatic executor, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to various audiences in writing, large groups, and one-on-one settings.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships and inspiring confidence among diverse stakeholders, from employee groups to directors.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and creative solutions, enjoying tackling difficult challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen ability to connect the dots, actively engaging with the business to understand ongoing situations and proactively applying communication expertise where needed.
