Job Description

SENIOR INSIGHT ANALYSTUP TO £42,000LONDONWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Insight Analyst on behalf of a highly regarded organization in the healthcare sector. Join their team and be part of an organization that truly makes a difference.THE ROLE:As the Senior Insight Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving fundraising success through your expertise in providing valuable insights and analysis. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to stakeholder requests for insights and delivering comprehensive, easily understandable analysis in appropriate formats.
  • Understanding supporter needs and recommending personalized approaches to enhance their experiences and optimize contributions.
  • Leading the identification, adoption, and development of analytics and reporting tools and software.
  • Utilizing a range of software, including MS Excel, SQL tools, Power BI, and FastStats.
  • Embracing an agile approach to continuously improve fundraising strategies, conducting tests within communication channels, and closely monitoring results.
  • Analyzing open and click-through rates, as well as conducting communication tests for email campaigns.
  • Creating propensity models to effectively target supporters for fundraising appeals.
  • Demonstrating initiative and storytelling skills by providing clear and concise insights to enhance fundraising products and ideas.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
  • Previous experience in an analytical role within the third sector or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, enabling you to identify key issues and opportunities when analyzing data.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation, including expertise in MS Excel (essential), SQL (desirable), and FastStats (desirable).
  • Experience in creating, maintaining, and enhancing reports using MS Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Ability to develop propensity models using FastStats, R, or equivalent software.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Raisers Edge or RE NXT.
  • Excellent numeracy skills and effective communication abilities, enabling you to convey technical and data-related information clearly and concisely.
  • A strong belief in prioritizing the supporter experience in all fundraising activities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.
