Job Description

SENIOR IMPAIRMENT ANALYSTUP TO £60,000 + PENSION + PRIVATE MEDICALLONDONA new position has become available at an established bank in London. They are continually growing, and this exciting Senior Impairment Analyst position wont be on the market for long. This opportunity will allow you to take projects through from startto finish and have great exposure with senior stakeholders and management.THE COMPANYThis is an award-winning bank based in London who put emphasis on company growth and customer satisfaction. They also havea hybrid working from home and office system providing great flexibility for its workers.THE ROLEThe role is a senior impairment analyst position which will involve working with the validation of IFRS9 models and reporting to senior stakeholders.You can expect to be involved in the following day to day:

  • Work with data science team for development, validation, and review of IFRS9 models
  • Work on the end of month model adjustments
  • Compile and deliver monthly updates and reports for Impairment Committee
  • Maintain and control the compliance of impairment regulatory policies
  • Analyse portfolio performance
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience using SAS/SQL
  • Experience using R/Python
  • Experience with IFRS9 reporting and model validation
  • Understanding on IFRS9 model development - experience with model development is desirable
  • Experience working within an FCA regulated company
  • A strong university degree in a numerate discipline

  • Up to £60,000 base salary
