Job Description

Job Title: Senior Golang Developer - Fintech Industrymy client is a dynamic and fast-growing fintech company revolutionizing the financial services industry. Theyre seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golang Developer to join their talented team.As a Golang Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing their cutting-edge financial software products. Your expertise in Golang, along with strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, will contribute to the scalability, performance,and reliability of our applications. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving fintech organisation. The position requires working in London for three days a week with FANTASTIC benefits.Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions using Golang.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Apply strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms to build efficient and scalable systems.
  • Develop and maintain REST, WebSockets, and/or FIX-based APIs.
  • Ensure code quality through writing automated tests and conducting code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or relevant work experience in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong expertise in Golang programming language and related frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and their practical application.
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry (Buy or Sell-Side) is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in building REST, WebSockets, and/or FIX-based APIs.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Location and Compensation: This position is based in London, and the successful candidate will be required to work in the office three days a week. The salary for this role is up to 130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
