Job IntroductionOur Skanska Costain STRABAG joint venture team is working in partnership with HS2 to deliver the new London tunnels from Euston to West Ruislip. Our joint venture team is working on sites at Euston, Old Oak Common and West Ruislip, building tunnels 13 mileslong and up to 50m deep, supporting delivery of HS2 phase one.We are looking for a Senior General Foreman to join our HS2 team onsite in London. You will be responsible for ensuring the coordination of a section of works of the larger project.Role ResponsibilityResponsibilities: To ensure and communication between all parts of the operation team including suppliers, subcontractors, engineering, safety and environmental team and clients team. Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements; identify training requirements, review the performance of the workforce and ensure delivery of briefings. Ensure accurate, legible and up-to-date allocation sheets are recorded and provided at shift close with delivery tickets and plant returns to the engineering and commercial teams. Carry out regular safety and environmental inspections and implement recommended courses of action as identified from progress monitoring and management inspections.The Ideal CandidateSkills and Qualifications:

• SMSTS
• CSCS Black card
• SEATS
• First Aid 3 day
• Manual handling
• MEWPs for managers
• PASMA
• Shaft sinking experience required
• SCL experience advantageous
