Job Description

Senior Front End Developer - Deep tech AI start-upLondon - 100% office based£70-85k negotiableOur client is a deep tech AI company founded by a group of MIT technology enthusiasts, engineers, computer scientists. This tiny, well funded, start-up provides Location Intelligence technologies through unique products and tailored solutions that utilizeAI and advanced analytics to extract insights from geospatial data to drive business growth.The Senior Front End Developer will be in at the start in a new London team set to grow rapidly over the coming months.The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications. Using JavaScript frameworks (espec React), HTML, CSS, and Node, you will be able to translate user and business needs into functionalfrontend design.The Frontend Developer role:

  • Designing and developing UI for mobile and web applications
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
  • Web/Mobile testing, debugging, analytics, and KPI optimization
  • Establish and maintain a consistent visual style across multiple solutions and products
Qualifications and experience:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years experience in Web/Mobile frontend development
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for UI/UX design
  • Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • Experience building responsive Web/Mobile applications in JavaScript Frameworks, React.js, HTML5, CSS3, and Node
