Job Description

Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a leading bespoke software company to recruit a Lead Front End Developer to join their growing development team.As a Senior Front End Developer you will be building maintaining and innovating the clients product, integral to the clients core business. In this senior role you will need to be experienced developer who has excellent capabilities with React.JS, but also an individual who wants to produce work they are proud of and has the drive to be a lead in the company and deliver world class software to clients.Key Responsibilities:

  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality, secure code
  • Understand and implement functional and non-functional requirements
  • Debug internally and externally-reported issues, and endeavour to maintain optimal performance of applications at all times
  • Work within the agile team and participate fully in all team meetings, sharing knowledge with the team and wider department
  • Participate in peer code reviews, both as reviewer and reviewee
    • Skills:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a UI/React Developer
  • Experience leading a small team
  • Experienced in interacting with REST APIs , NodeJs , NPM , gulf
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Understanding of DevOps lifecycle with Jenkins , Sonar , Docker etc. is required
  • Good hands on Unit Testing with frameworks such as Jest & Enzyme
  • Proven skills working with client stakeholders and interacting directly with client teams
  • Flexible approach to work, including managing changing priorities, and a willingness to pair-program and participate in code reviews
