Job Description

Senior Firmware Embedded Engineer is needed to join a new team as it develops and builds out new IoT devices.You do not need to have IoT Product development experience so a great opportunity to gain some.Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop multitasking Embedded software for IoT devices
  2. Design a multitasking firmware and develop supporting tools in C/C++, Python
  3. Implement factory and firmware development supporting tools.
  4. Understand and support hardware design.
  5. Contribute to the core firmware code base of the company.
  6. Take responsibility for the code quality.
  7. Work close with QA engineers and support the project thought the whole SDLC
  8. Design and implement software components from Hardware Abstraction Layer to Application layer
Experience
  • Experience in FreeRTOS environment, ideally with ESP32, or any other 32bit microcontroller is required
  • Significant experience writing Unit tests and using testing frameworks is essential.
  • Understanding Embedded Design Patterns, common data structures and algorithms is essential
  • Highly effective result oriented, analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving and communications skills are essential.
  • Experience with rapid IoT Product development desireable
