Job Description

Senior Fire Engineer - LondonMy client is an engineering consultancy who specialise in the property and construction sectors. They have an opening for a Senior Fire Engineer to join the team and assist in the design and implementation of fire solutions. This role can be home-based, but candidates should be able to commute to sites around the South East.Duties:

  • Create solutions to mitigate and eliminate fire risks including recommendation of materials used in construction.
  • Active involvement in design, CFD, calculations & report writing to reduce the risk of fire spreading.
  • Include fire safety systems into designs.
  • Reporting of fire safety.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other engineers.
    • Requirements:
  • You should be educated to MSc level in Fire Engineering or another relevant discipline.
  • Already have demonstrable experience working in a UK consultancy.
  • Knowledge of the principals of project management.
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Able to work in a commercial sense.
  • Experience in CFD modelling.
