Job Description

Senior Finance Manager £60,000-£65,000 LondonPermanent We are pleased to be supporting Prism the Gift Fund, with the recruitment of a newly created position of Senior Finance Manager to join their growing finance function and organisation.Prism the Gift Fund aims to increase the distribution of charitable funds globally to Not for Profits, charities and social enterprises by supporting and partnering with organisations, groups and high net worth individuals. Prism the Gift Fund have seen significantgrowth and since their inception they have donated over £300m worldwide, and through their extensive network and work practices, have been awarded numerous accolades, which is certain to increase.The role of the Senior Finance Manager will work closely with the Head of Finance on various board activities along with providing specific support and guidance to other stakeholders. This position will also provide great exposure to some well know financialinstitutions.Key responsibilities:

  • Monthly review of trial balance, P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
  • Year end statutory accounts & audit - act as the key contact for the external auditor, ensure the accounts are consistent with financial standards requirements and delivered on time
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance for the charity on all financial matters
  • Responsible for monthly investments accounting, maintaining the accuracy and completeness of accounting data and presented to the Investment and Finance Committee.
  • Oversee client statements to a high standard, ensuring attention to detail and correlation with SAGE
This position is ideal for a someone who has an entrepreneurial mind set and enjoys working through challenges quickly and effectively. Successful candidates will need to hold a full CCAB qualification and have over 5 years post qualification experience, alongwith understanding charity accounting requirements (SORP), Gift Aid, experience of presenting to senior management, investment accounting and line management responsibilities.If you would like to know more about this opportunity, please apply.Closing date - 4th January 2024
