Job Description

A iconic global retailer is looking to hire an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its finance function.The position is part of the Global Financial Accounting and Reporting team. The individual will be responsible for preparing the quarterly IFRS consolidated financial statements, including the preparation of footnote disclosures, account analyses, as wellas coordinating with international affiliates and external auditors. You will

  • Support the completion of the Group accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS"), including the preparation of complex footnote disclosures (e.g., financial instruments, income taxes, etc.) and the review of less complex footnotedisclosures (e.g., inventories, cash, etc.)
  • Review adjusting journal entries prepared by the Group Team
  • Prepare the cash flow statement for the group accounts including any cash flow adjusting journal entries
  • Oversee HFM system upgrade for anticipated go-live in 2023
  • Manage pension reporting process
  • Correspond with international finance community and interface with external auditors
  • Perform data analysis and quality review of financial data submitted by 180 global entities on a quarterly basis
  • Support tax department with various analysis
  • Assist with calculation of various KPIs / APMs.
  • Research any technical accounting issues and propose proper treatment and resolution.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and work on special projects for management
