MLC Partners are working with a nationally recognised brand within the charity sector to recruit a Senior Finance Business Partner. The organisation provide support across the UK to some of the most vulnerable in society, helping over 2 million peoplein the last year alone. This role comes with a large degree of autonomy and will play a key part in managing some of their largest projects.Reporting into the Head of FP&A, main responsibilities will include:* Building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation and specifically within the project team itself* Working with the funding partners to understand their requirements and provide regular reports on the financial position of the project* Preparing insightful financial analysis into a range of business areas, promoting cost efficiencies* Develop and support a Finance Business Partner, ensuring delivery standards are upheld across the team.The role will suit someone who is an outgoing and engaging character who enjoys working in a changeable yet supportive environment looking for their next challenge.The successful candidate will be:* A fully qualified accountant with experience of delivering a high class business partnering service to a wide range of senior budget holders.* Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.* Accomplished at conveying complex financial information to non-finance staff.* Ideally experienced with donor audits and have worked within the charity sector previously.The Head office is based in London; however this position has extensive home working available.
