The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in transactional finance, specifically in accounts payable and accountsreceivable, and demonstrate a strong desire to advance their career.Looking to take their career to the next level and grow within a team that is heavily focused on your growth and development.   • Manage day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Supporting with accruals, Pre-payments, and bank reconciliations
  • Cash Flow Reports, age data reports, support with Audit (year-end close).
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
  • Assist with accruals, pre-payments, bank reconciliations, invoicing, cash flow reports, and age data reports.
  • Provide support during audit year-end close and assist with sales report analysis, board pack reports, VAT, payroll, and HRMC posting.
What our client is looking for:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in managing purchase and sales ledgers (accounts payable and receivable).
  • Desire to pursue professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, AAT, or ACA (ICAEW), or evidence of being in the early stages of a finance qualification.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Genuine desire to learn and progress rapidly.
Desirable qualifications:
  • Experience working with product-based businesses, preferably in the food, drink, fashion, retail, e-commerce, cosmetics, or fashion sectors.
  • Passion for the SME/scale-up/startup space.

Salary:£30,000 to £35,000 + Study SupportBenefits:
