Job Description

Senior Finance Analyst, up to £55,000, Media Production & Distribution (12-month fixed term contract initially)We are looked for a talented, commercial, qualified accountant to join this fast-growing media business. You will join a 4-person finance team, and be tasked with working alongside the FD on a real range of accounting & business-related tasks. Elements will include, management accounts, financial & commercial analysis, internal P&Ls, external reporting, and building new & improving existing financial processes.Other responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver robust, effective financial analysis to challenge business’ performance and drive profitability
  • Key role in delivering the Group monthly reporting process, providing clear and concise commentary for Executive Management and the Board
  • Assist with preparation of Group budgets and reforecasts
  • Design reports and templates to highlight key performance indicators; generate clear and uncluttered analysis, whilst preserving efficiency and light burden on the Group reporting process
  • Proactively approach financial planning and analysis, identifying trends and key issues across the Group and understanding actions to mitigate them.
    • You will be a qualified accountant (or very soon to qualify). It doesn’t matter if you are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, it would be preferable if you have some knowledge or interest of the film industry. You must however be entrepreneurial, outgoing and get stuff done.
