Job Description

In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gasin the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.Your role

  • You support the M&A team on all valuation, accounting and consolidation aspects (e.g. company’s valuation, purchase price allocations, calculation and explanation of KPIs).
  • You develop integrated financial models (PnL, balance sheet and cash flow statement).
  • You calculate the impact of different consolidation methods related to acquisitions/disposals.
  • You identify solution approaches for accounting and financial issues in alignment with group functions (i.e., Finance & Controlling, Tax & Treasury).
  • You perform business plan reviews, various financial analysis, and participate in the Financial Due Diligence for acquisition opportunities and disposal candidates.
  • You support the Vice President M&A proactively in all finance and projects-related issues.
Your profile
  • You have a Master degree in Finance or Financial mathematics / Diploma in Accounting.
  • You have at least 7 years of relevant professional experience with a focus on accounting, controlling or financial audit.
  • You have strong knowledge in Accounting especially in IFRS (Austrian GAAP is a plus), consolidation, audit regulations and procedures.
  • You have a high affinity for numbers and accounting.
  • You have a high individual responsibility in generation and validation of sensitive corporate figures.
  • You have excellent knowledge & skills in MS Excel.
  • You have excellent English skills. German is a plus.
