Job Description

Job Title: Senior ETF Marketing ManagerWork Location - 22 Bishopsgate, London (Hybrid)Contract Type: PermanentAXA IM is a global asset manager part of the AXA Group, a world leader in financial protection. Our team combine a range of specialist skills and experience to best serve our clients needs. As a Senior ETF Marketing Manager, you will report to Global Head of Segment Marketing, and you will be part of AXA IM Core - Client Group. DISCOVER your opportunity AXA Investment Managers took the strategic decision to launch an ETF platform last year, with 3 ETFs launched so far. We have strong ambitions to build a successful ETF business and are looking to recruit an experienced marketing professional to lead the developmentand execution of marketing plans to start to build awareness and visibility for our new range as well as support the sales efforts. This role will require a strong understanding of the ETF market and the competitive landscape, as well as the ability to target key audiences and deliver innovative and effective marketing campaigns through various marketing channels. At this stage, this willbe the only marketing resource we have dedicated to ETFs, so the role will need to be both strategic in terms of setting up the strategy and also very much hands on in terms of the implementation working closely with our local sales and marketing teams. Thisan exciting opportunity for a professional marketer to join our organization to support the creation of new ETF business and help to build the marketing set up for ETFs. The role will report to the Global Head of Client Segment Marketing but also have a dottedline to the Global Head of ETF Sales. The role will also sit on the new ETF business management team that the Global Head of ETF Sales is about to create. Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Take ownership for defining and delivering the ETFs marketing strategy at a global level, working closely with the Global Head of Client Segment Marketing and the Global Head of ETF Sales, with the objectives to raise awareness and visibility for our ETFrange and also support the ETF sales team effort. This will also involve working closely with the local marketing teams to help them to have clear local plans in place and coordinate all activities across countries as required.
  • Be responsible for the development and the delivery of high quality, high impact campaigns to promote our ETF range. This will include setting objectives, developing messages, defining customer journey and marketing plan and project managing delivery ofall activities across a broad range of channels. Activities will include advertising, email communications, events (industry and proprietary), videos, client coms, web, social media, compelling content (brochures and presentations), industry award submissionsand research.
  • Take ownership for optimizing client experience along all touchpoints, specifically through digital marketing efforts including emails, web, social media, events... And ensuring that there is a clear content and contact strategy in place for ETFs.
  • Play a key role in coordinating all activities across all markets, with a particular focus on events and specific campaigns. This will involve collaborating with local marketing teams to create impactful experiences that align with our business objectives.
  • Act as the key marketing point of contact for the ETF business, ensuring that marketing is aligned to the overall business objectives, working closely with sales team members and senior stakeholders to support the sales process, including developing salestools and training materials.
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to stay informed of market changes and adjust marketing plans accordingly.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, such as agencies and consultants, to support marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, legal, and compliance, to ensure marketing materials comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Manage the ETF marketing budget and track performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of all marketing activities being undertaken for ETFs.

  • Relevant degree preferred, and proven marketing experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on ETFs and asset management.
  • Strong knowledge of ETFs and the asset management industry, including market trends, regulations, and competitors.
  • Demonstrable track record delivering successful marketing plans and campaigns for ETFs to drive sales growth.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence people, collaborate with multiple teams and manage effectively key stakeholders.
  • Team player - take an interest in and contribute to the work of the team, and collaborate where appropriate with other groups
  • Ability to work with different cultures and languages, being able to speak a second language fluently is a plus for this role. Either Italian, Spanish or German.
