Role Description Work with an outstanding technical team and lead features or modules within the business Support in the build of a cutting-edge platform, allowing for high scalability, reliability and performance and enabling collaboration and reuse across the organisation Support the team in choosing appropriate technologies and methodologies while continually searching and advising on opportunities to consolidate Implement new features and deploy them to customers on an ongoing basis Provide technical support to client teams and customers and also gather requirements to make them more productive Work across the whole development lifecycle (discovery, delivery, testing, releasing, supporting and maintaining) using an agile methodology Work in a cross functional team (Product Owners, UI / UX, Designers and Developers) in a highly collaborative environment where you will also speak to our users and often pair to solve problems Work in a collaborative, transparent, non-hierarchical and ego-free culture where your talent is valued over your job title Role Requirements Experience in Clojure or other functional JVM languages Experience with JavaScript and related libraries / frameworks like React, ReactNative Exposure to microservice architecture, mobile application development and cloud development Experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform and Kafka an added bonus Building and evolving scalable cloud-based systems for mobile and web, specifically those utilising event-driven micro-service architectures The ideal candidate will also have had at least 5 years of working experience in a senior full stack development role They will have had vast experience in software engineering, site/software development and experience working with numerous software-industry business models, inclusive of subscription, ecommerce, support and fulfilment Working in the Health sector with experience of designing innovative products in a highly regulated environment
