You will also be responsible for implementing cloud security best practices around the management of enterprise cloud infrastructure. If this is relevant for you, just let your recruiter know when you make your application.Your roleIn this interesting and diverse role, you’ll manage IT security strategy including both infrastructure and applications. Assist in efforts associated with security and compliance-based products in the cloud. Use your skills to identifying security issues, and prioritizing fixes. Provide mitigation recommendations to reduce identified security risks. You’ll work with internal clients around the world. This Deloitte Global role requires limited to no travel.Responsibilities:

  • Perform tool administrative tasks and provide application support for compliance tools platform
  • Review infrastructure security risks and notifications.
  • Assist with security requirements involving cloud, operating systems, applications, and databases.
  • Actively assess existing cloud implementations, identify security issues, and prioritizing fixes.
  • Transfer knowledge via documentation and training to software development organization
  • Establish foundation for future implementation and automation requirements in the cloud, identify opportunities for automation, and develop scalable solutions
  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders
  • Follow incident management and change management processes, create run-books
  • Participate in on call rotations for emergency events and escalations
  • Utilize verbal and written communication skills to maintain accurate system documentation and provide training as required

  • Experience as a security professional or similar field
  • Good written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical people
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time across multiple projects to achieve on-time deadlines
  • Intermediate knowledge of at least one of the cloud service providers’ (Azure, AWS, GCP) platform and core services
  • Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, operations, security, automation, and orchestration
  • Experience with cloud security best practices for cloud provider ecosystems (Amazon AWS/ Microsoft Azure, GCP)
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology or other related discipline
  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet is highly desirable.
  • One or more of the following certifications: Azure Certified Cloud Engineer, AWS Associate Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security and/or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer
  • Experience with database SQL and NoSQL database technologies
  • Experience understanding protocols, such as, SSL/TLS, CIFS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP/S, NFS, SNMP and DNS
